Will
Leaving a positive legacy that extends beyond one’s own lifetime – this is a desire that inspires many of us. By including Dentists for Africa in your will, you can help secure a better future for children, young people and widowed women in Kenya.
It is a very personal decision as to whom you wish to include in your will
If you would like to discuss this matter, I, Dr Dieter Bolten, as a Honorary member of Dentists for Africa, would be happy to assist you. Our conversation will be treated in strict confidence and does not entail any obligation on your part.
We’d be happy to help you bring your ideas to life exactly as you envisage them.
By leaving an inheritance or a bequest to Dentists for Africa e.V., you can lay the foundations for a better world for medically underserved patients, widows and children in East Africa.
Working closely with our African partners – particularly the Franciscan Sisters, graduates from our orphanage project who have completed their vocational training, and women from the St Monica Widows’ Cooperative – we are creating sustainable prospects for the future.
There are good reasons to include Dentists for Africa in your will:
- Ensuring access to dental care: We have been working with our local partners for over 20 years. Together, we organise aid missions and set up dental practices for the underprivileged in Kenya.
- Helping people to help themselves: We support the training and further education of local dental students and dental technicians, amongst others, thereby giving them prospects for the future.
- Health education: Kenya’s future lies in the hands of its children. Their dental education and treatment are therefore a particular priority for us. Together with dental staff from Africa and Europe, we regularly carry out mass screenings in schools.
- Humanitarian aid: As the majority of people in the area live below the poverty line, we also provide humanitarian aid. In this way, we enable orphans to receive schooling and vocational training, and support widows and their children – who are directly affected by the AIDS epidemic – in their self-help initiatives.
- Exempt from inheritance tax: As a charitable organisation, Dentists for Africa is exempt from inheritance tax. You can therefore rest assured that your legacy will be used in full, in accordance with your wishes.
