Aumund Foundation

In line with the conviction of its founder, Franz-W. Aumund, that "the education and upbringing of young people is the most valuable investment in the future," the Aumund Foundation supports the education of several Kenyan orphans as well as dental and law students whose schooling was funded by the Dentists for Africa sponsorship project. The largest joint project to date is the construction of a boarding school for St. Michael Preparatory and Orphanage School in Koliech in 2024/2025 and the support of around 150 boarding school students.

DGOI

In February 2022, we signed a cooperation agreement with the German Society for Oral Implantology (DGOI) to promote our dental projects in Kenya. As part of this cooperation, licensed dentists are welcome to volunteer at the dental clinics supported by DfA in Kenya. Together with DfA, the DGOI organizes continuing education events for dentists in Kenya. DfA members also receive discounted rates for DGOI membership.

Apobank

Contributing to the future viability of the healthcare system is one of the main concerns of the apoBank Foundation. The foundation supports a wide variety of charitable and social projects in Germany and abroad. For example, it supports a project for dental education and treatment in Kenya run by Dentists for Africa.

VDDI

The Association of German Dental Manufacturers supported DfA in March 2019 by awarding it a prize of €5,000. The VDDI's corporate social responsibility project demonstrates the dental industry's commitment to helping people in need and patients in Germany and around the world.

Henry Schein Dental Germany

Henry Schein Dental Germany actively supports the work of Dentists for Africa e.V. with its network and by regularly providing free repairs of handpieces and contra-angles and donating consumables. The company also grants its dental technician Torsten Rauch one week of special leave for his work in our Kenyan dental stations.

Kavo

With generous donations of handpieces and contra-angles to Dentists for Africa e.V., KaVo supports dental care for the poor rural population of Kenya. The durable, high-quality instruments from the Biberach-based dental market leader perform reliably even under the prevailing difficult local conditions. KaVo also offers us free repairs for the instruments.

Kulzer GmbH

Kulzer GmbH donates the separation costs incurred in connection with the precious metal collection campaign.

Walter Gastreich Foundation

The foundation's objectives are to promote development aid, international understanding, health care, youth welfare and care, education, public and vocational training, charitable causes, and the advancement of science and research.

Leti Pharma GmbH

LETI distributes products in the fields of allergology, dermatology, and veterinary medicine. The long-established pharmaceutical company with Spanish roots has taken on numerous sponsorships to finance school and vocational training for Kenyan orphans. In addition, LETI Pharma GmbH, whose medical cosmetics have been available in Germany since 2015, supports the Dentists for Africa widow project in Nyabondo.

EVIDENT

The company EVIDENT supports DfA with donations: "As a manufacturer of dental software, we became aware of the commitment of one of our customers to Dentists for Africa. We thought it was a great initiative to promote dental health in an African country through practical assistance, and have decided to make several donations. We also regularly inform our 2,500 users about the generous work of the association and are happy to remain associated with it."
