Without the active participation of our members, our work in Kenya would not be possible. DfA has more than four hundred members throughout Germany, Austria, and Switzerland who make a decisive contribution to the realization of our goals through donations, sponsorships, aid missions, or active participation.
As a member, you will receive our newsletter, in which we regularly report on our work and the latest news about our projects. The annual membership fee for active dentists and doctors is €100, for retired dentists and doctors €50, and for students and non-medical professionals €25. You are welcome to make a voluntary additional contribution. Our members are invited to attend our annual meeting, which takes place in the fall. This is an opportunity to get actively involved in our work and have a say in decisions about the direction of the association.
As a member, you also benefit from a significantly reduced full membership with our project partner DGOI (annual fee €100 instead of €300).
The extended board offers the opportunity to actively participate in the work of DfA.
The extended board is a committee consisting of around 30 people who are actively involved in Dentists for Africa. Once a year, a meeting is held to discuss important issues relating to the direction of DfA's projects. Video conferences are also organized at regular intervals, during which members can obtain information and contribute their ideas. These conferences involve working groups on dental projects, sponsorship projects, widow projects, and public relations. If you are interested in becoming an active member, please contact us.
