Our successes

To date, Dentists for Africa has set up 14 dental centres in Kenya and more than 701 children are currently being sponsored by DfA. Over 550 sponsored children have already completed vocational training.

Our projects

Dental project

By setting up dental practices, implementing prophylactic measures and promoting training, we are improving dental care in Kenya in the long term.

Sponsorships

By arranging transparent and individual sponsorships, we give Kenyan orphans a future. The children are supported in both their schooling and vocational training and receive accompanying care.

Widows’ Co-operative

Widows affected by the AIDS pandemic have come together in the St. Monica Village widows’ cooperative in Nyabondo to pursue gainful employment. The aim is to promote the economic and social development of the members.

Our three main projects reinforce each other and are sustainable.

“The three pillars – the dentist project, sponsorship project and widows’ cooperative – are linked in such a way that they benefit from each other. Many sponsored children learn medical professions, which directly benefits our dentist project.”
